You have a very nice style to your writing.

It may be presumptuous of me to assume that you do "want" your readers to have their minds "somewhat in gear" when they read your submissions! If so, then you should "pay attention" to what you are writing, as in, how can Jim and Mel be walking the beach on Monday (her day off) and the next day and night be Saturday when they expect to invite Rob to a barbecue and a fivesome?

Aside from little "burps" like that and some failure on your part to do much proofing of what you have written, I AM ENJOYING your story!!!
