Good story but could've been a lot better.

The story starts off pretty good, I liked the revenge aspect of it and the mystery build up leading up to the reveal of the backstory and our main characters revenge.

But then, after the reveal it kinda goes downhill from there. I liked the story when they siblings were acting as actual siblings and their lil banter that they have going on but then the sister reveals that she loved him all along and there was no build up leading up to this or any proper backstory and we just have to believe that she did.

The conflict that the main character has towards this is also very minimum. He thinks that this is "wrong" for one second like a few times and his conflict just melts away in an instant

You don't feel the taboo of it all.

And I didn't really feel for the romance between the two and the sex scene was so much based on romance and it didn't help.

I like that you showed the things that they shared with each other on the island but it's just mentioned in past tense so it didn't really pull me in on the whole sibling relation.

I'll say tho that the writing was absolutely top notch but the story suffers from not enough build up or character development and even has some tonal issues.

And I've read a few of your other works before like creeper pass and the robot game and they are one of the best stories on the entire site.

but yeah, this one didn't really work for me but I'd like to see more from you for sure.

Simmering, emotional, deep, a bit melancholy from the small reveal that they do not last, with some nice eroticism.

Cannot give you five though, the biology and microbiology of the environment where they consummate their attraction/ love is just too gross, and pulls me out of the flow.
