Loved the first part. Knowing a bit about you I’m not sure how much RL there is in it, but that doesn’t really matter. Your style always holds attention, and the descriptive language is always promising more. I want more.

Now an update on my ongoing treatment for the big C and the HPV virus. I've had the MRI scan and also a PET scan (a MRI with a radio-active injection, where the fluid is attracted to the cancer cells to identify them base of the tongue) and neck. I have been given a date in October for surgery (20TH) and an introduction to my Macmillan nurse (who will guide me trough my treatment). Please do not expose yourself to this risk, have the vaccine and encourage your children to do so as well. Thank you for reading.

I almost missed this one. I was busy with something else and barely glanced at the new listing. Eventually discovered it at 10:30 pm, better late... Anyway, Pixie, what can I say.? Wonderful! wonderful! tale. Although the underlying theme's intention may be serious (is it?), you had me laughing out loud in a number of places. It started with Mama crying out: "You can't be gay, you're an aristocrat and an Anglican!" Mama should have a word or two with some of the young Guardsmen who have encountered aristocrats. My laughter continued with the parental conversations about Pixie. Love her father---he reminds me of the 2nd Baron Redesdale. I do hope the one book he read wasn't by some damned Bolshie feller, put a chap off his shootin' and fishin'. Thanks for the enjoyment. Here is a five-star bookmark in case Papa ever picks up another book.

Another interesting, revealing story with a classic line...."Ha!" said the earl with impeccable logic, "well why is she excavating Pixie's tonsils by mouth if she's a she? Answer me that!" Spoken with semi indignation in a tone of discovery that must have felt like he just discovered the meaning of life.
