Not the best chapter. This is where you lose some readers. Bess was instrumentally raped. Being guided into sex is one thing, but rape is NEVER EROTIC. It takes a sick deviant to think rape is worthwhile reading. Nor is it in any way acceptable. I know a man who is on the National Registry for Sex Offenders for a lifetime who put a story on the internet that wasn't nearly as offensive as page one of this chapter.
