I am no longer amazed by your research and versatility and literary skill, just envious.

And Captain William Blackburn of the Pearl Maiden is twice–no, 10 times–the man called Captain Jack Sparrow of the Black Pearl (but Port Royal is still Port Royal, even the sanitized version in the Disney ride).

Beautiful story. The instructions for sex were extremely well written. Very period appropriate, but equally entertaining in the mechanics of the act. For the time period, the fact that any thought was given to the pleasure of the women was a surprise. You don’t often read about the gentleness in a historical setting… at least I haven’t, but I don’t usually read stories based in the far past.

Very nice. Would have enjoyed reading of the ancillary demise of a certain frigate captain. Also hoped Madagascar worked out well. 😀

Women tend to be the central characters in my stories, because I find their complex personalities to be fascinating. My stories come from my life experiences or the thoughts inspired by people I have met. I am an avid fan of history and especially the history of the America...
