You are dead on right about the idiots part, Some of the inspiration for this story, came from various creepy things my dogs have done over the years. Staring intensely into a dark room and growling for no reason, when no one was there. Suddenly stopping and whimpering as if he sees something I don't.

It always has made me wonder. So, in a way, little Angeline Jolene (the Pomeranian) is one of the heroes of this story. And, as a Pomeranian owner, I can tell you, if my Pom thought there were spooks in the house, she would LET ME KNOW!
