The Taming of the Shrew?

Sage is a handful much like Shakespeare's Kate. Let us hope Edmund is able to woo her with his good looks and charms. I fear the alternative suitor, Nicholas, will "Not Go Gentle into That Good Night." Apologies to Dylan Thomas

Re: Taming of the shrew

"A handful"... you know she was just enslaved, right? What do you fucking expect?

Loving the idea, but Edmund better change quickly if we're to believe him to be this nice guy everyone keeps saying he is.

almost felt cheated

This ended so abruptly that I was shocked and felt like I was cheated somehow. I really hope you continue this story and bring it to a conclusion. I loved the imagery and way you painted the scenes very good writing. I will explore your other stories.

Thanks for this one though please don't leave us all hanging.

Captivating

The picture you paint is exquisite. Please continue the story, and soon. I would pay to purchase this story if it was a book. The characters are very well developed already and I appreciate the various unanswered questions hanging in the air.

I don't much care for this genre of story

But since you're a talented writer I gave it a go. Nice job! I actually enjoyed it. It's nice to have a little mystery in one's life. Five stars. Go well, JB

Well written, taught and without any historical anomalies.
