I call BS. Yes, she had every right to go and check on her sister. It's not like this is a 9-5 job, nor is she exactly getting paid overtime for basically being on-call anytime the "Master" wants her! These "people" have effectively made themselves her entire life, which again, she did NOT ask for nor give original consent. She had a life, albeit somewhat pathetic, but still a life which included her sister. It's really pissing me off that Shane has a problem with her going to check on her sister, when she has managed to save the group at least twice now. If Shamira had more self-esteem, she'd tell Shane to kick rocks and explain that while she may work for him he does not own her. She signed up to be an enforcer, how the hell did she end up basically becoming a Kevorkian-esque assassin! Enforcer, enforces the rules, protects the group, kills if necessary. This thing with Tabitha and Pierre is WAY out of the scope for an enforcer and not something that she wants to do, but again Shane forced it. I highly doubt it will happen in the series, but I would LOVE it if Shamira would tell Shane off. Remind him that he should really want to keep a high Aspect vampire like herself on good terms and at his house!

Anon you're forgetting something. She's not just an enforcer. She had the chance to be one of his employees, or to be part of the House. Possibly even to leave entirely. Not only did she chose to be part of the House, she chose the role of Sub. If she'd chosen Domme or not to be part of the House there would be a huge difference.

PLUS she has a habit of running off.

If anyone in a 9 to 5 job bolted as often as she has they'd be fired.

And he DID demonstrate a total cluelessness about how it was inappropriate to handle that via phone! He thought she was over reacting AGAIN.

Overall he basically gave her a warning. Like when you get called in by management and told to correct your shit or find a new job.

Considering this is more like the Mafia than a 40 hours a week gig you're not looking at it right.

She's basically got a 6 days a week on call job with an exception for emergency on the 7th day.

Nah, it's bullshit abuse. Like having to visit the author's submission page to get to the next chapter. Complete bullshit that no one should tolerate.

The only word that applies to bitches that moan and groan about story lines but can not wait for the next chapter so they can bitch again.

oh my sister needs me. well if you have a some time, like a lunch at least, then just shadow jump there, cry, talk, hug and then shadow jump back. hell could go for a few hours when she was going to be sleeping. She does have a cell phone, could jump back if an emergency.How hard is it.

I bored every other one of these five star but the grandad and spelling just keeps getting worse. You should get a second editor and repost them sometime. Hell I'd do it in a heartbeat cuz this story is truly amazing
