I really liked the first 8 chapters. The humiliation and abuse went farther each time. But the last chapter seems like you backed off. I'd like to see Maria get back into the story. I've noticed many writers lose their nerve after many great chapters as if they are afraid to take up another notch. Anyway, keep going! More public humiliation!
