I did like the story, as the other commenter said, it was well set and sounded real. Maybe it is only in recent times that the young think they invented sex. I imagine a time when outhouses weren't segregated by sex, and in the absence of a privy, people pissed in the street. In a one room house, there isn't much privacy.

Oh well Otazel, a good story well told.

I love Gran. She reminds me of one of my neighbor ladies. I was often fascinated by her tales. And yeah, we kids thought we invented sex. I'm sure it's been that way every generation after Adam and Eve.

The dialect and her light breezy attitude just tickled me. Your writing style is just really cool. Thank you for a very entertaining story.
