KOLKOREalmost 16 years agoProbably more honest (and refreshing), although it reads more like a memoir of happy times from the careless 60', than most 'secretly voyeuristic/wimp stories here: namely first read (secretly enjoy) then cry foul.
What I am wondering is why you fell for the old cheating formula (at least in the title) when in fact you were able to describe something more real: a situation of a slippery slope when every one including the husband progressively move into something that leads to the final outcome, where the last stage seems much more blurry compared to the previous one. The husband honestly admits his part in the dynamics (not necessarily a blame game); after all he could have stopped this progressive show at any time earlier...<P>
Where I really felt that you missed a fantastic opportunity to close a loose end, was when you could have initiated a come back to that red head your main character never had a chance to finish his business with. He could have argued: if we experiment etc. I have my own unfinished business -that would have made for a fantastic ending!

Nine times out of ten it does not end well. I am as broadminded as anyone but I don't believe in wife swapping, I do like to read about it, though. Good story.
