"Thanks so much."

She kissed him sweetly and walked out of the room, pulling on her shoulder rig as she went.

He sighed and then smiled. "Go get em, honey."

I liked it a lot.

Good story.

I liked it, a love story in key thriller, with a promising end, especially if the author writes a sequel someday.

5* for you.

I apologize for my English, is not my native language.

Nice

I like the characters, but I'd like to see Kate slightly less aggressive and Jake slightly less submissive, so they'd feel a little more like a team on the job, if not in their personal lives. Being a secondary on a case shouldn't mean that Jake has to so often sit there and say/do nothing, and being the primary doesn't mean that Kate should obliterate him. I don't feel like I can give this 100 because, as a police procedural, I think it's got 2 flaws: 1) by allowing the mayor & family to stay in the house, they compromised the crime scene to the point where any evidence found there might be inadmissible in court, and 2) COD, tox screen, etc., usually take longer - a lot longer, in some systems - but I could buy that they were rushed through because of the high-profile nature of the case. Nevertheless, as an erotic story, it's a fun read. You, young lady, are very good. :)
