Enjoying this

Well written and paced so far; chapters are short and I haven't spotted any typos etc. Keep this up.

I like the juxtapose of attitudes between the 'prim and proper' commoner vs 'the devil-may-care' nobility. Spotted a nice era-appropriate simile or two, made me smile.

Underrated content.
