I don't normally read this category but the title/synopsis intrigued me. I really liked the little twist at the end. I'm going to read some of your stories.

Still a few loose ends I think, but then SoDb is a good “Get out of jail card” for most fantasy stories, overall a good story, with a good premise, but as always a little more flesh on the bones would have made it a better story for me, thanks for writing and posting!
