I enjoyed your story, good solid little flash. Lord help me though, I have to agree with Joe for once. The anal sex thing seems to be the holy grail here on LW. Why in the world is that such a wonderful thing? For a largely, including me sometimes, homophobic readership, this seems to close to what you profess to hate. But in story after story, this seems to either end or redeem a relationship. Thanks for saying it Joe.

...if I'd seen a story yet where the blackmailed wife brought it to her husband for help, rather than failing into the blackmail trap and losing her marriage. That alone made this interesting. Does seem far-fetched that Orlando owns a home in the same backwoods area after 12+ years.

Who would have suspected mushrooms. I actually liked the story and applaud the effort to use ancient woodland wisdom. I do wonder about the possibility of trace being left at the scene of the arson, but that is axing too much from one page of prose.

I enjoyed seeing the douchebag get his, but how dumb was young Cheryl to do stuff like taking on multiple dudes at once or taking anal when she wasn't even getting work out of it besides a single commercial? You would think the first time she spread for one of these sleazes and still didn't get the part, she'd try a new tactic.

Everyone in this story got what they deserved.

A good five star flash, but agree with one or two others that the "tail" was an unnecessary element that appears to be the holiest of grails for some men who want their LWs to willingly comply to be subjected to this assault, while being fully aware that each individual would object to endure even the smallest butt plug inserted into his own hairy arsehole.

I'm disappointed in how the wife acted before marriage. It's shameful that the afterthought of anal submission would fix the, "but never with my husband, friend, and lover...until he found out I already did it." I don't believe this character was really worth the empathy. It's weird that buttsex the way the story is resolved. I have a hard time believing she actually even wanted to be in a relationship.

And what detective comes by to tell them that people were poisoned like office gossip without there being any further threat of investigation? Why keep samples of the poison mushroom? It would be to save the lives of those assaulted by a clue for an antidote without giving away knowledge of the intention of the act, but by that point it should have been too late to matter. If there was any official indication he knew a thing about mushrooms, that would have been disaster. And so on, ...

At least she was smart enough to realize she's not dumb enough to try to hide the dilemma without enlisting some help, and her husband is a logical place to start. Not like it really mattered much since that's sort of expected...you don't get praised every time you do your ablutions.

I think the fundamental implications of the ingredients used clash with each other to the point the dough didn't rise.

He told us in the beginning of the story it had almost something from every story on literotica. He did miss secret agent and the navy seals though. A very great made me laugh story. Specially after all the other crap stories that have been written lately

This is one of my favorites from your work. Nice, clean little tale.

Had some of the same devices seen in other stories but they were handled a little better here. First of all she didn't give into blackmail but rather trusted her husband and told him straight away. The women in the stories who do worse and worse things to keep their husbands from finding out one small indiscretion are not that believable. No one or nothing is totally anonymous in today's society. People are too mobile and the everyday technology doesn't lend itself to anonymity. She should, however, have given her husband a heads up about anything that happened before him that might come back to bite them in the ass. Maybe not the details but that she did associate with some less than ethical people and maybe something wicked this way comes. Or may come. So, thanks for sharing your story and looking forward to more. And more.

Two awesome stories. This wife was smart and honest. She told the truth from the word go and didn't give in to blackmail. She did exactly what a wife should do! Hubby took care of it. Sure it was a little extreme but when it comes to defending your family anything is fair game.

This is how a SMART Wife would react to a situation like this. It's obvious she is loyal to her hubby unlike some of the other supposed loyal wives in other stories that get suckered into doing some guy, usually the hubby's boss or bosses because of a threat of his job, etc.

And I like his efforts, in particular I like resolute main heroes that act like real men rather than wimps. This is a bit strange but very original. Keep on writing.

I love it when "Honey, we need to talk." ends with a faithful wife seeking help from a husband who loves her. That's the way it's suppose to go.

But that’s why many writers write.....to express in stories the things we can’t and shouldn’t do in reality. Their characters can commit murder and burn down a house, without any lingering evidence or inconvenient investigations.

You left a few loose ends, but it was still a very enjoyable Draconian Response Story.

Ok. One thing that seems to be a common denominator in these stories, are stupid cops. First off, the Arson on his house, along with the poisoning, would have been a red flag. I am sure the police, would have inquired WHY Orlando was eating dinner with them. Maybe the house fire destroyed all his video evidence, but Maybe his computer hard drive was still accessible, or the call logs from his phone, which would have shown the contact, after 20 years. Would have been much smarter to leave the house alone. If the cops found the video’s, if nothing else, it would have shown there were scores of women, he was blackmailing. Since the husband originally was going to turn the mushrooms over to some group, it is pretty obvious it would come out, that he was known to be a wild mushroom collector, and should have been able to spot the poison mushroom. Even more suspect, is the fact that the husband had the poison mushrooms on hand, and acted like he didn’t know, what they were. Yeah, the cops would have busted them for this, I am sure. But one things for certain, Orlando will never see “ Dawn” again! ( sorry, couldn’t help It! )

Was like a breath of fresh air when a spouse being blackmailed does the sensible thing and confide in their partner. Lucky for her that her husband was a stone-cold killer, but LW has quite a few of those, so was worth the risk.

I kind of remember reading this story a couple of years ago it's as good the second time as the first. I don't care for mushrooms but I sure wouldn't want to mess around with Cheryl, it be dangerous!

When doubt throw them out.......mushrooms that is! The wife and I have found and eaten 25 varieties of wild mushrooms. The way she used to fix that wild mushroom soup was great. She passed about 3 years ago, no, not from mushroom poisoning and I'm still around to and allmost 80 and still going mushroom hunting with the kids.......all adults now. Good story.

Was it really necessary to insert ( sorry! ) this activity into the proceedings? I can see no way in which it added anything positive to the story, it was just gratuitously gross.

Ok good story but confused. How would she be identified by a birthmark that no one knows about? If she could be otherwise identified, then still so what? She is an IT project manager and many years went by. The Intenet is filled with this shit and it would be one more drop in an ocean. Yeah asshole could send the bids to her employer, but a) that is illegal and the company firing her for that without proof of it being her, could be at the blunt end of a nasty termination suit, and (b) even if she list her job, it isn't worth the price Orlando is asking. Not even close. They would find a way to survive. She did the absolute right thing and told her husband everything. Amazing! Now her marriage is not in jeopardy. At most she might lose her job (debatable). Any friends who saw it somehow, could easily be dissuaded that it wasn't her. If family know of the birthmark, she can readily explain what happened and they will understand. Now that isnwith no revenge. Just a passive "no". Not much in the way of damage compared to.what is being asked. Period. Now what could be done beside murder. Oh how about going to the police. Get some recordings. Stage something after going to the police and wearing a wire. Now asshole goes to jail. A warrant will find more evidence. He goes away for a long time. In 48 states now it is a crime to post revenge porn or sex tapes without consent, especially when nonconsent given for filming and distribution. So yeah buy a couple of days and set his ass up. Meeting the way they did with his bodyguard present was dangerous in its own right. Seriously Orlando's leverage was weak and he was setting himself up for jail by virtue of blackmail / extortion. We live in a digital age. Going to the police would secure a wire via a warrant. Some states allow a recording in evidence at a criminal trial if one of the participants gives consent. There are multiple possibilities. Doesn't need murder. Now if they did nothing, he puts out the footage and they can't burn him for posting it (maybe no proof), and asshole is still coming after her in some other ways, ok then who knows. But they were not close to that. Unless he planned to stalk and rape her (why would he, easier fish in the sea!), was murder warranted? Hell yeah prison time. But poisoning? Yikes. Anyways kudos to the wife!

I'm struggling to wrap my head around the blackmail plot. He has nothing of any substance with which to blackmail her. If he makes video footage of her public he will fall foul of revenge porn laws and anyway who cares about some unknown woman appearing in a sex video? At worst it would be temporarily embarrassing for her for a few months tops then the few that did show any interest would have turned their attention to the latest hot topic on daytime TV.

Creative story. But like previous poster what is the big deal about the video? It doesn't thrraten her marriage. Yes it threatens her employment. Then she can sue. They have video of them meeting. Record that meeting. Who cares about legal consent of recording. Depends on which state anyways if one party or two. Was clearly blackmail. Worst case, movie gets out, she loses job, though nowadays a sex tape on Internet doesn't always mean being fired. Sue Orlando. He clearly has money. There are revenge porn laws. Etc. Again what is the crushing penalty of it hitting the Internet? Clearly she was smart to go immediately to her husband. And she had zero intention of sleeping with the asshole. She was more than willing to go to the police and let the video leak out. This was more a story surrounding a clever way to murder someone.

I liked this very much, quick fun and covered all bases. Some burning, some loving, some anal. 5 stars.
