and interesting and fun. A step beyond Elizabeth Peabody and Emerson's adventures!
First that any story containing religion should be in sci-fi is funny beyond belief. I am a devote Christian btw. I thought the husband was no better than the two adulterers. I would like to see what happens to them (the married couple) when they die. Obviously he believes he is the injured party and divorces his wife. But letting it go on for the money makes him as reprehensible as she is. Good story.
this time he comes back as a female so some man can fuck him over in life instead of the other way around
This was a very intriguing story and quite unique. I don't remember reading anything like this on this site. KUDOS!

Can't say this was my cup of tea. The person in the story got rewarded for being a Prick. He got a 2nd chance because he was amoral, almost like the story suggested he didn't know better. But the story, at the beginning, showed that he totally knew what he was doing when he did it. And he got a 2nd chance for bringing misery to almost everyone he could for his on selfish gain? Naaaa. Not my cup of tea.

Well, Scorpio, you always are, whether we agree with your characters, your life/death views, or your morality (or lack thereof), you do engage my mind (not always necessary to engage the libido), and that rates a 100. I hope you attract many others for the same reason and keep on writing!
You have a unique ability to delve into unexpected unsuspected arenas and make them interesting to most.

Author - You are looked forward to - in most cases!

just want to thank you for your time and your stories. Mike from Texas.
Your introduction is as interesting as the story; it focuses the range of interpretations. Why?
Should Karma and consequences to our choices be grouped as fiction/fantasy ?
Thank you for your fine stories in a range of subjects .
The universe is a forgiving place. some comments are by punitive people who wanted Derik to suffer. Living on this earth is suffering enough along with our prejudices.
I most vehemently to any and all religious fantasies being included with science fiction. At least Sfi has some scientific foundation, however meager. Superstition is all fantasy and escape from realism.
As for the variety of imagineered forms of reincarnation, any of the ultracrepidarian deities would muck up that system of karmic justice.
