I wasn't really sure where you were going with this but this line...

"She will return..."

brings it all home. Goes to show you sometimes have to look at the whole to see the true beauty.

Killer ending

My kind of ending. You did a great job building the reader. I love your word choice. I had no idea where this was going to go. That's great in poetry. Thanks for sharing. Most definitely, excellent work!

Poignant.

In spite of the beautiful imagery there still exists an air of sadness about this lovely rendering. Beautiful.
