I always read Coaster2's stories.

He writes well and this story is a pleasure!

I usually stay away from "mystery" stories

but because of the known author, I stayed with this story and was rewarded.

the story turned out to involved stock market manipulation, so it is a rather credible story, with Madoff and that guy from Texas being put through the slow grinding justice system for their fleecing of tens of billions off the general public.

tony and nina --- although victims of greedy and more powerful market minipulators --- seem to be almost background to story of how greed can ruin people's lives, even kill. the story is slowly turning out to be an endearing, loving one of misunderstanding, of lost love and found, etc.

so, again, the "mystery" turned out to be no mystery at all, and to me that's good, since I really do hate mystery and have almost never read any mystery book in my entire life, although I've read thousands of hard core science fiction novels/stories...

Excellent!

Excellent writing, particularly in this chapter. Most definitely, I am looking forward to the next installment.

Great story

Great mystery story but the mystery remains. Where is all the documentation she gave in sealed envelope to plain clothes officer. After not seeing his wife and children for months how can he ship his wife back to Westport and never see his children. If the danger is that great.how can he leave his family alone? Fine mystery, but too many unresolved issues.

I adopt HDK's comment. The ease with which he revealed himself to his wife and re-established relations with her suprised me. I thought he would be much more cautious.

Weakest chapter so far

The ease and quickness of slipping back into relationship with wife doesn't make sense compared to rest of story. This chapter read like the author was in a hurry to move on to the next chapter. The prior three chapters were much better written, and very logical. Still a good read, and I look forward to the next chapter.

Milano/Marino

Continuity!

Tony's last name changed from ch 3 to here!

Thoughts

Previous chapters said his name was “Milano”, here he says that it’s “Marino”? Switches back and forth a couple of times.

Since he's already blown the whistle, except for revenge why should he be in any particular danger?

Milano or Marino?

Regardless, I gave 5 stars. Excellent story.

Marino or Milano? Not the first time I’ve come across name inconsistencies with coaster2 stories either.

When you buy a best-selling novel at $20.00, and read it, you have the benefit of knowing that the publisher had DOZENS of proof-readers and editors correcting any glaring inconsistencies.

When you read a novel for free on a site like this, or even a self-published cheap novel on Amazon, you are saving a chunk of cash and losing that benefit.
