The only thing that bothers me about this story is the Idea that a man could still love his wife after witnessing her being a slut. Husbands and wives can have totally open sexual relations for all I care, though the couple in this story obviously never made such an agreement prior to the wife's cheating as she perceived it. The utter disrespect that both men treat the woman does not turn me on when it comes to consenting sex stories, and this woman clearly gave consent. The disrespect and name calling fits better in nonconsent/fetish/bdsm stories in my opinion. If this story had been filed under those other categories, I'd rate it 100%. This is my second read after a span of about 2 years. I can see why it faired middlingly in score - compared to the rest of your efforts.

We were introduced to this couple after 25 years of exclusive relationship. The extensive space dedicated in the character buildups indicated a couple with a pretty stable relationship from a psychological standpoint. Surely any voyeuristic tendencies or sluttish behavior would have dribbled out somewhere.

The abrupt change in character for both the husband and wife strains this reader's ability to suspend disbelief and interferes with the story's flow and enjoyment.

Perhaps the wife would succumb, but only avariciously; not descend to sluttish submission. And perhaps the husband would let her, but cooperate?

This story is a good example of why a lot of real estate people in my neck of the woods carry licensed concealed handguns.
