Reminds me of the time I was wearing a blouse, skirt, and feminine sandals - probably some jewelry, too - when the UPS lady came to the door. She rang the bell, meaning I had to sign for the delivery.
She didn't raise an eyebrow, although no one could mistake me for anything other than a man wearing women's clothes.
I've heard that UPS delivery people see all kinds of unusual sights.
Keep up with the story.
To show how you really are to a good friend . You have described a situation we have faced so very well.
How was your life from there?
Beautifully done. A follow-up explaining the change in the relationship of the two would be most welcome.
It's my first story here and I promise to continue with it soon.

...And remarkably understated dramatic storyline. Very haunting, please do continue this effort, your writing is lovely. Cheers! --- Josie
Dearest Christy,
Great writing and a great beginning, hope you plan on giving us more of what comes of that first meeting.

So sweet! I wish I had your courage.
Keep it up girl, for all of us without the courage.
This is a beautiful start to what I hope will be a wonderful series of stories. It's very similar to how I came out to one of my best female friends who I have known since high school. She was really understanding and said she actually suspected that I was a CD a long time ago. She promised to keep my secret and not tell my wife. She said she'd help me tell my wife if I wanted and it's something we may actually do together. In the meantime, she's been helping me with buying the right clothes and also with my make-up. Now I hope and wish that my wife will be as understanding as my friend.
So far this chapter's shedding a positive light on the Christine's struggle to move forward
