The nurses asked if they could look.

The charge nurse said, "You better bring fresh linens, with the change of clothes. Your cell phones will take all the pictures you need. It's been 40 minutes, and I only gave her 10. It serves them right for taking too much time."

Harold was still pounding away, into Callie, when three nurses brazenly walked into their room. They put the change of sheets onto the night table, her clothes next to her on the bed, towels in the bathroom, and the lab coat over the back of the Harold chair.

They took their cell phones out their pockets, and started taking pictures. Initially, Callie screamed and covered her face.

Harold grabbed her hands and pulled them away. He put his face by hers, and they waved to the cameras.

After a few minutes of taking graphic photographs, the nurses' waved goodbye.

Harold increased his speed, Callie grabbed his neck, and moments later, they both screamed as they fulfilled each other's passion.

Callie said, "I hope they don't put our names with our pictures, when they post them on YouTube."

"Would your friends do that to you, baby?"

"You can bet your ass on it, Harold."

"In that case, you had better come up with a very snappy reply."

*******

"Stop smiling, and wake up, Patty. This is the last time I am warning you; the next time it's ice water."

"Steph, it is Saturday, nothing is happening today."

"Some daughter you turned out to be. You promised to your dad we would go to the city and have lunch with them; do you remember?

"Wasn't that for next week?"

"Do you want to check your own calendar?"

She hopped out of bed walked towards the kitchen, and heard Stephano say, "Damn it Patty, put some clothes on. A man can only stand so much."

She replied, "Don't look!"

"I am going to look at you. I am also going to spank you for being so insolent."

"I'll put clothes on. You stay away from me."

"Isn't it amazing how quickly you changed your tune?"

"You are a brute, Stephano. That is the only way you get me to do what you want me to do."

"That will change, on the day you say I do. Then we become partners in life, until death."

"Oh, how sweet."

"I didn't say how long until death would occur after you said, I do."

"If it happens quickly, I could still die a virgin."

"Whoever invented that word should be killed, or at least emasculated."

"Listen you, I am almost 24 years old, and I have had that little piece of skin inside me, since birth. It has never bothered me to be there, and it will not bother me if it is there on the day of my death. If you want it so badly, 'Behave!'

"That my darling goes both ways. You should have learned that the first time. Do you want to recount your sins, or do you want me to refresh your memory?"

"YOU LEFT ME!"

"After what you said to me,' I WOULD DO IT AGAIN!' Do you want to continue this argument or do you want to stop it now."

"What were we talking about before this got out of hand?"

He walked over to her and pulled her into his arms, and hugged her. He kissed the top of her snowcapped head and said, "Patty, I can see we are going to become experts at 'Make-up Love Making. We were talking about lunch with your father and got into an argument about who left who and why."

"I believe I would rather have lunch with my father than continue arguing. What do you think?"

"I could not agree more. Paul and Rita should be here within the hour. So if you could manage to be ready by then, it would be appreciated."

"I will try."

"Wear heels, I understand they are taking us to a very expensive place."

******

Paul and Rita landed at the helicopter on the pad of the old house, and walked over to see if Patty and Stephano were ready. They have little surprise for them, and could not wait to spring it on them. They were halfway to the motorhome when the door opened, and Stephano and Patty exited. They exchanged greetings; and were walking towards the helicopter when Brad drove up in his Corvette.

Stephano asked, "Did your grandmother give you a reprieve?"

Brad replied, "No such luck, my Honda broke down, so she gave me the Corvette until my car gets fixed."

Patty asked, "Did you finish the drawings on the house?"

"Yes, that's why I'm here."

"It will have to wait until tomorrow, because we are on our way to have lunch with my dad. You have a date with my horses, and my property anyhow, and we all know unless it's a female with two legs you cannot multitask."

"I have not been with a female in months, because of you. I'm beginning to wonder what they look like."

Stephano replied, "They have not changed, Brad, unless your attitude has you are better off without them."

"Don't start with me, Stephano. I was doing very well until your fiancé came into my life. If you had not left her, none of this would have happened to me."

"Bullshit Brad, you still would have made the bet on the chicken carbonara and lost. Let's not go over that again. We have to leave. Be here tomorrow around 11 AM and we will go over the plans. Ask your mother to come with you please if it's too early for her. If it is, leave a message on our machine with a time that is good for her."

"Why isn't it too early for me?"

Patty called out, "TIMELESS!"

The horse reared its head and came trotting from the middle of the field towards her.

Brad started running away, and said, "I'll be here at 11 AM, no, I'll be here at 10:30 AM, just keep that horse away from me."

"You better get her a bucket of oats, or I will have her chase you around the property."

"Yes ma'am, one bucket of oats coming up."

When the horse got to her, then nuzzled each other. Patty scratched her all over, especially behind her left ear, which she seemed to like the most. She told the horse to go get her oats and she cantered over to where Brad had the bucket waiting for her.

"Stephano, why can't you be more like Brad. He always does what he is told, when he is told what to do."

"He would be obedient to you, until he left your sight. Then he would go to the board in his room to see which female would be next on his date list. Don't you remember what Mister Woodson said about him?"

"Yes, I remember, but when he heard I had $63 million in the bank, I don't think he would roam very far."

"Patty, you are so naïve. People with much more money then you have gotten divorced every day, and those divorces are not very pretty. Do you remember what Brad's goal in life was? He wanted to become a gigolo. He is not marriage material."

"Let's go to New York, and have lunch with my dad, and forget Brad for today. We will see what he has come up with for our house tomorrow. I hope it is good so he can start building it soon. I want to get out of our motorhome. It was not meant for long-term living. We can move into one of the other houses, as soon as the closings are completed. I believe that would be a better option."

"I agree, now let's get into the helicopter before we are late for lunch."

Instead of Rita, making sure they were buckled in properly, it was Paul that did the honors today.

Stephano noted the change and asked, "What's going on, Paul?"

"You have the new pilot flying us to New York today. Rita passed her flying test and is now fully qualified to fly this bird."

Patty hit the intercom button and said, "Congratulations Rita, don't take any crap from the flight attendant."

"He knows his place, Patty. He knows how hard I worked to get into this chair. He was my biggest 'athletic supporter'!"

"Don't let it go to your head Rita. I am still the senior pilot on this aircraft."

"If you try to burst my bubble today, Paul, you are going to wait a long time for your next ride in my saddle."

"Folks, we have a luncheon engagement in New York. We would like to be there on time."

"Here we go Patty, 'engine start'." As smoothly as Paul had done it every time he had flown the helicopter, Rita took control of the aircraft off the ground, and headed south. She contacted at traffic control like she had done it every day of her life; and you could hear the happiness in her voice. She landed at the East River Heliport, and Stephano told them to have a good time while they were in town, on the corporate card, because he did not know when they would be back, it could even be overnight.

Paul said, "Gee whiz, boss, wouldn't that be terrible. About what time would we know if it was going to be overnight?"

"If I don't call you by 6 PM, it's an overnighter."

"Your wish is my command."

"Paul, you will not stay at the Four Seasons."

"Would I do that to you, boss?"

"You wouldn't, if you want your job tomorrow."

"How about the Excelsior?"

"Think about your paycheck, and let your conscience be your guide."

"I thought this was going to be a fun job," Paul smiled.

Stephano smacked him on the head and said, "Go have some fun before I kick you in the ass."

******

As they walked out the front of the terminal, the driver of a stretch limousine opened the door for them. He said, "Miss Parent, Mister Zabo awaits for you inside."

Patty was cautious, but stuck her head through the opening of the door, and there was her father and Jemma, sipping champagne.

Patty yelled, "You are not allowed to drink alcohol, prego!"

"I am not drinking mine; I'm drinking yours, because you are late."

Patty grabbed the glass from her hand, kissed her and her father hello. Stephano stepped into the limousine and did the same. He asked, "What is the occasion?"

"A town car is too small for the four of us, and this was the next logical size vehicle. Also, a friend of mine owns the business."

Patty looked at Stephano, and said, "Don't ever ask my father, how many friends he has, because he has more of them than he has money. If you ask him, he will tell you at times his friends are much more useful than his money."

William nodded his head. "That is very sage advice my son. Money can buy many things, but real friendship is something that you should treasure, and nurture all your life. We are calling on the friend of mine in a few minutes."

"Are they meeting us for lunch, Dad?"

"I will ask when we see them."

"Don't you love it when he does not give you an answer, with an almost answer."

"He probably learned to do that to avoid having to deal with your mother."

"Ow, why did you hit me?"

"You just insulted my mother, Stephano."

"I said 'probably,' didn't I?"

"I knew you didn't mean it."

The limousine pulled up in front of a very fashionable store on Sixth Avenue, and William told the driver that they might be a little while. He would keep in touch with him by phone.

William turned and looked at his daughter sternly. "Patricia, you will behave; is that understood?"

Patty was taken aback by her father's attitude, and by his tone of voice. She felt like he was talking to a child, and that the child should not try to rebuke her father's authority.

"Yes, dad, I understand."

William walked ahead of them towards a side door, and Stephano looked at Patty and shrugged his shoulders. Patty shook her head, not knowing what was coming next. As soon as she entered the doorway behind her father, and he moved the curtains to the side, she said, "Dammit, dad, why can I just buy a dress off the rack."

William turned and looked at his daughter. Just the look on his face changed the color on hers'.

"You will follow these ladies instructions to the T, is that understood, Patricia?"

"Yes, father, I wish we had eaten first, then, I could've thrown up all over your shoes."

"Patricia, I missed 20 years of your life. I regret every one of them. I regret even more at this moment that I never had the chance to correct your arrogant attitude. Unfortunately, for the rest of the world you received your attitude from both your mother and I. Unrestricted the world has gotten you. We had this discussion once before in the aircraft, but I surely would love to put my hand to your lovely behind."

"Trust me, dad, Stephano has done it twice, and my attitude remains the same. I doubt you would have any better luck than he has."

"Daughter, I believe Stephano had other intentions on his mind when he stroked your behind. If I were to do it, it would be with evil intent, and the handprints might take a year or more to disappear. Now, are we going to do this my way, or are we going to do it the hard way."

Carolina Herrera walked into the dressing area, and said, "William, what young woman are you degrading now?"

William glided over, kissed Carolina on both cheeks, and said, "It's just my daughter, dear one. How have you been, I have not seen you since Milan?"

"Your friend, the Chinese Ambassador, has been keeping me busier than you possibly can imagine. My Buenos Aires store has been working on orders for his family for the past nine months. We have not started on the orders for the people that he has recommended my fashions and bridal gowns to yet. I do not know how I will ever be able to repay you William."

"Carolina, your repayment stands before you. She is being married in four weeks. She would be happy walking down the aisle in a pair of cutoffs, a blouse, and a pair of flip-flops. Her mother, 'May she rest in peace,' would kill her first, and then come looking for me. I would not blame her one bit. The event is outside, in the middle of October, but most of all you must know, she is a virgin."

Patty yelled, "DAD, WHY DON'T YOU GET A FUCKING MEGAPHONE!"

"Patricia, watch your mouth."

Patricia turned and started running for the exit.

William yelled, "Guard, stop her."

The guard outweighed her by 200 pounds, and she was no match for him.

"I will give you $100,000, if you let me go. You can come with me."

The guard looked at her, looked at the group of people that were coming after her, and said, "Hell yes; let's go."

He started opening the door, when Stephano grabbed Patty.

"Let me go, Steph."

"Can we please talk? After we finished talking, if you still want to leave, we will walk out the door together. We cannot leave with the wedding this close, and you and your father arguing again. It was too difficult for everyone the last time."

"Do you promise I can go if I want to go?"

"Yes, I'll take you to Wendy's and buy you a 'Smoothie.'"

"Deal!"

Stephano turned to the crowd behind him and said, "Patty, and I are going outside to talk. We do not want company. When we are finished talking, we will have decided one of two things: She will have a dress made here; or she will not. She is the bride, it is her wedding. I am the groom, and it is my wedding. If anybody wants to be disappointed in our choices, don't come. We will be disappointed, but please remember, we were not advised of what today's events were going to be. We were told we were going to lunch, and this was foisted upon us. We will see you when we are finished talking."

Jemma pulled on William's arms, and whispered in his ear, "Stephano's MBA is turning out to be very good for him, isn't it." He and

"Jemma now is not a good time to point that out."

"Husband, I think it is a perfect time for an older gentleman to be put into his place."

"Wife, if you weren't so pregnant, I would take you home, and spank you."

"Husband, you have no idea how much I miss those tender spankings. I am dripping already."

"I thank United Airlines every day for having you on that flight with me. It was the most fortuitous day of my life."

"Would you like to stop by a bookstore today, and buy me a book today?"

"Which book has piqued your interest now Jemma?"

"It's about airplanes husband. It's called, "FEAR OF FLYING!"

William started coughing, because he was laughing so hard. Carolina yelled for people to get him some cold water, as she helped smacked him on his back.

"William, William, are you all right?"

"I will be fine in a moment, Carolina. My wife told me a joke that I was ill prepared for. I will get even with her for that later today."

The side door to the showroom opened, Patty and Stephano walked in with determined looks on their faces.

Patty looked at her father, and said, "This is the way it is going to be, or I am out of here. There will be no men in this room, none. No man will see the dress, until I wear it at the church. Carolina you will not talk to my father about the dress. I want your word on it. Dad, I don't want any of your spies taking pictures of it. If you do, after this wedding is over, I don't ever want to see you again. Don't plan on seeing your grandchildren or anyone associated with my family. This dress stays between Carolina and the people working on it, and myself. Jemma, you can stay, because I trust you as I would my own sister."

William looked at Patty and said, "What made you think I was going to stay here in the first place? I would never do that. It is not a man's place to be here. I was just arranging a meeting between you and Carolina. Then I was going to take Stephano to lunch."

Patty looked at her father, fell to her knees, and started crying. Stephano knelt down in front of her, put her head on his shoulders, and let her cry it out. He said to her, "It seems to me that my bride is beginning to get a serious case of the jitters. We may want to back away from situations like this until we have all the evidence in. What do you think babe?"

"I think I just made an idiot of myself."

"It is not the first time, and I can guarantee you..."

"Don't you dare say it!"

"... it will not be the last time."

"You are a real bastard Stephano."

"How far down this road, do you want to go Patty?"

"I think I want to apologize to my father."

She walked over to him, and kissed him. "Dad, sometimes you have an idiot for her daughter."

"No, it is not every day that a father has a daughter who is getting married. Nerves start taking over, and instead of thinking rationally, the tongue strikes out like a viper. You will be fine in four weeks, plus a few days. Stephano and I are going to lunch. Carolina take care of my daughter please."

"It will be my pleasure, William."

Carolina asked Patty, and Jemma to sit down, so she could talk with them. She said, "Patty, have you given any thought to what type of dress, you would want?"

"Unlike my father's description of what I want to look like walking down the aisle, I would like to be fully covered. A high neck and long sleeves with maybe a vee center opening in the bottom front of the gown, so when I walk, they will see my foot and ankle peek through. I don't want a train. It will add too much bulk to the gown."

Carolina laughed. "Patricia for a young woman who has put no thought into a wedding gown. You have just designed your wedding gown. Let me show you."

Carolina turned her drawing tablet around, and Patty and Jemma gasped. There, in front of them, was the gown Patty had described, down to the vee in the front bottom of the dress, with a leg and shoe sticking out.

Jemma asked, "How could you do that so quickly and so perfectly?"

"My dear, I have had a lot of practice, making wedding gowns. You may think this is what you are going to get, but this is just a rough drawing. As the gown progresses, you will see it in much more detail, and you will love it, I promise you, because I promised the man who gave me nearly $20 million, on a handshake, to help me start my business.

"Who could throw that kind of money around, and hope to get it back?"

"Your father."

Both Patty and Jemma were speechless. There was nothing else to be added to this conversation.

Carolina stood up, and said, "Patricia, I need you to undress completely, so we can measure every inch of you. Then we will make some paper drawings of you, and we will start looking at fabrics. We do not have much time to make this gorgeous gown."
