"Candy brought her bag and slept over with us. We did actually go to sleep, although I don't think that Daryl slept much. Dave said, "What! Who did what?"

Cricket explained, "Sharon, Cindy, Jake, and I did the dinner. It's kind of simple; just burgers with all the trimmings of cheese, bacon, and so on, plus French fries, coleslaw, and salads. I'm sure they have enough to feed an army back there." She gestured towards the kitchen.

"Why'd they do that?" Dave asked.

Cricket shook her head at the short-sighted comment, "Because they all love you and want to belong to the Circle, dummy. We all do. I'm doing cleanup, too, and we have other volunteers, but we're using paper plates and plastic ware so it shouldn't be too onerous. Besides we don't know how to use all the wash up equipment in the kitchen yet, and there was no cleanup crew slated to work tonight. We made our own to compensate."
