Now, regarding the plot, what makes things moving, have these questions, that probably ot not would be answered in the next chapter. How Rebecca found about Eric's cheating? Probably and obviously Eve. And the others, more important ones, how Eve knew Rebecca, and if she knew her, this was all a trap? That's what it seems to me. Let's see if the second chapter has the answers to these questions
