There could have been more pathways in this story. One thing I have noticed is that

you rarely use direct competition for the girl..

There are a lot of good people in this world. Somehow they manage to find a circle of friends and relatives as Deb and her mother have. I admit to reading this story four times and find something new each time. Thank you Coaster !!

This is a great romance story. I love how the author told the story of Ian's youth, of his growing up his first infatuation with Bernie, then the move to Vancouver and drama of Ian's education, especially with Deb who took his virginity, then finding his new career and realizing that his true love was in fact Deb. Always enjoy the happily ever after. Story was well written and the character development was wonderful.
