Thank you, yakboy, for a well crafted story, all eleven chapters of it. I have to say that you could probably have left Shane out without reducing the effect of the story. This would have emphasized the relationship between William and his mother. However, I definitely liked the William/Bill plot device. IMHO, this worked very well. There is certainly scope for further chapters - you could easily turn this into a full blown novel. This story is well worth five stars, more if they were available!
