If he really earned his position based upon the merits of technical skill and ability he'd walk away from her proposal and start his own company, right?! His loathsome character, lack of dignity, and absence of self worth is revealed to all when he dropped to his knees yet many of you readers don't seem to appreciate that (I guess you guys are cut from the same bolt of cloth).
