Terri and Becky

She would face this uncertainty heads-on, she had begun to notice that she was seeing less of her own future since shortly before the battle. Mryddin had explained that her future would always be cloudy to her. However, there would be times when the fates would let her see parts of her future. She wished for one of these moments now as the taxi drove through an ancient looking gateway with a cattle grid.

"Are we on Fletcher land now?" She asked.

The driver chuckled. "We're been on Fletcher land for the last hour." He glanced back, "But we've been in Fletcher territory since we passed Hadrian's Wall." He went silent as he drove for another twenty minutes.

Becky stared out the window as rain ran down the window, obscuring her view of the outside world. She jerked in surprise as an ancient looking castle loomed up from nowhere. The driver slowly pulled to a stop before the entranceway.

"Do you want me to wait?" He asked before he got out to get her bags. Becky got out and opened her umbrella.

"Nope, I'm good. Are you sure I paid you enough?" She started to reach for her wallet.

"Lady, you paid for here and back with a good tip." He went back to his car. "I'll be here for ten while I eat my lunch, just in case you need a ride back." He had guessed by her jumpy body language that whomever she was coming to meet didn't know she was coming. He was an old softy and wouldn't leave her stranded here if she weren't welcome.

Becky smiled and nodded as he put the bags down in the arched entrance then retreated to his taxi. She put her umbrella away and took a deep breath, using the big brass knocker to knock on the ancient-looking door. She waited, sticking her hands into her fleece-lined pockets of her jacket to keep her hands warm.

The door opened, Eva glanced over the woman before her, taking note of the gloriously long blond hair and hesitant blue eyes, "You do realise you don't have to present yourself to the Alpha with this pack?" She said with a dryness, which spoke of years of diverting people from the Alpha when she didn't want company. Like Bastion, she worked as a general buffer for the Alpha and took care of her comfort as well as the running of the house.

"I'm here to see your Alpha. She really wants to see me."

Eva snorted. She doubted that her Alpha wanted to meet anyone. She was more likely to attack this woman than talk to her but since this is what this woman seemed to want; she was going to get it. She jerked Becky into the surprisingly warm castle. She pulled the bags into the room and shut the door. "Stay here."

Becky glanced around as she waited. Terri stormed into the room, ready to rage around. The separation from her mate had not been easy on her. Her pack was beginning to avoid her, hoping that they would also avoid her foul mood. She came to a complete stop in the middle of her entrance hall and blinked, thinking she was dreaming again. She took a deep breath, smelling and tasting the air, and with that, she knew she wasn't dreaming as the scent of her mate danced through the air to tease her nose.

Terri walked calmly, afraid that Becky would bolt on her. Still, she couldn't help but pin Becky to the door and devoured her lips in quick succession, Becky doing the same with a gentle groan, both were eager to get their bodies re-acquainted.

Eva and several of Terri's staff watched in shock. The last two women to walk into this room and had requested to see her had left, torn, bloody and bruised. This was the last reaction they thought to see their Alpha take. Since coming back from the gathering, Terri had pushed away anyone who approached her sexually and now she was forcing herself upon a complete stranger. Although, the stranger seemed just as eager as their Alpha.

Terri broke the kiss and panted. "You came?"

"You are my heart." Becky replied, her heart in her eyes.

"You are my soul." Terri scooped her onto her shoulder, then quickly remembered her staff and turned to them. "This is Becky... she is my mate." She declared before dashing off to the nearest comfortable surface to have her wicked way with her mate.

Eva rolled her eyes; now her behaviour made sense. "Patrick, inform the pack that we have a queen and our Alpha is back."
