I took a drink, so that I could watch Drew closely, without being too obvious. "No. It's something new for me." he replied.

I put my empty glass down, "Well anyone for the third?"

"Not for me." answered Tim. Drew just drank down the remains of his second pint.

I didn't want to be left here with Drew. He seemed to be walking a very thin line that could upset me a lot. "Well, I think I should call it a day as well. Is that OK with you Drew?" I turned to him, looking concerned.

"Oh! Sure. I can get home and tell my flatmates my good news. Then I can go out to the pub again with them."

As we left, I caught up Tim to walk with him. Drew headed in the opposite direction.

"Did that sound like it raised the possibility of obsession, or am I being paranoid?" I asked Tim.

He glanced at me as he walked along. "It certainly struck me that way. Nothing that we could accuse him of, but the possibility of a problem. I did ask Dav whether she had trouble with him, she assured me that there was no problem."

"That's what she said to me. She did say she was sure he would like to ask her out, but as long as she was with me, that was not going to happen." I sighed. I didn't like this sort of pressure, Drew stalking through the long grass like some lion waiting for me to weaken and make a mistake.

"Well, there's nothing we can do about it. I suggest that you don't say anything to Davinia. It will only worry her, or she'll be sure you are paranoid."

We got to the corner where we really did need to go our separate ways, he stopped and looked at me in the streetlight, "He may just be hanging around in the sure and certain knowledge that you and Davinia won't last for ever. In fact, going on your previous record, he knows that its bloody unusual that you've lasted this long."

I slapped him on the back as I turned to leave, "Why don't I find that comforting?"

Oh! I think I figured it out the tension is so high and ya know something is coming, but my ADHD bullshit makes that something I avoid, but I kinda like fighting, so I am conflicted in my conflict

I would be lying if I told you I knew why but not as smooth as some of the ones that lead here just dunno why might just be my own internal insecurity looking forward to how you resolve it all but love the growing world you are building

Very very good Gary!

The scene whereby the girls brokered the settlement of the argument between Tim and Dave was great writing, as good as it gets here or anywhere. Nicely done. I am shocked you dont write more. Are there any other forums where more stories are posted?

Oooo sinister foreshadowing

Congrats. Good story. Four out of five. I am enjoying Part 2 much more than part one, although I liked part one. Perhaps I am just getting used to the author's style. I am amused by some comments that the author is too wordy. The deep detail on Dave and Tim's life outside their relationships with their women makes this interesting. There have been a few minor typos in the last few chapters, but nothing serious. I was wondering if Dav was cheating on Dave with Drew, but after this chapter I don't think so. Yet. An interesting idea is that of emotionally cuckolding your man which is what I think the author is playing with here. Dave's fight with Tim was also very realistic. They both have a lot of ammo to use on each other with is normal for friends. I look forward to reading more. Cheers Steve

"This is the first time I've ever tasted myself. I've never gone down on anyone after they've been in me.“

Huh? I can believe she’s never gone down on someone after they’ve fucked her, but I find it hard to believe she’s never tasted herself! Is she actually saying she’s never licked her fingers after masturbating?!

“I suggest that you don't say anything to Davinia.”

I think he SHOULD say something to Davinia, so that she can be prepared in case Drew makes some kind of a move.
