Yapping Dogs

The ring tone of her phone startled her and Rochelle smiled when she saw it was April's phone number and name on the screen.

She was outraged when April asked her for Jared Broussard's phone number.

"What? How would I have it? Remember? We're divorced?" Rochelle declared. "April, April, I got to go; Tammy's on the other line."

"You are kidding me," Rochelle nearly screamed when Tammy asked if she might have Jared's phone number.

As for who may have welded Tommy's car doors shut, cut Tammy's drive shaft, tampered with Billy's motorcycle, if it wasn't Jared, then who was it? Jared had a host of friends at Fontenot's Equipment & Services as well as at the Vo-Tech School. Besides that, you really think Jared is the only person the clique ever treated shabbily?

With this story being posted in 'Y' I achieved a rather silly little goal I set for myself. In 2017, I wanted to put at least one story into each letter of the alphabet. I also wanted each letter of the alphabet to have at least five stories. I know, a little silly, but it was a little goal to keep myself both motivated and amused.

This will be my last posting to this site for a while. I plan to devote more of my attention to some other projects I'm working on. How long of a hiatus do I plan to take? Don't know. Might be a month, might be two months, might be a year. I don't know.
