"Well, that took a while."
"Sorry. Got sidetracked," I mumbled as I snuggled back down with her.
"Oh? Anything you wanna share?"
"Just that if Devon offers you a salad, skip the cucumber," I said with a chuckle.
Amy looked at me curiously for several seconds before rolling her eyes and giggling. "I'll remember that."
If I didn't have to go to work the next day, I might have been tempted to stay overnight, but as it was, this was a busy week and with hunting season starting Saturday, I needed to get things done at work as much as I could now. After the movie was over, I kissed her goodbye, dressed, well mostly, and headed home.

Anonymousover 1 year agoThis beautifully written romance story definitely needs to be continued. The reader is really drawn into the story, because the characters are so well-defined. The dreamy atmosphere is compelling, but the ending leaves the reader yearning to find out what happens next. Five stars.

ScottishTexanover 1 year agoI'm surprised that you didn't have Devon work her way into getting some real dick from Roger instead of settling for the cucumber. From Devon's dialog while she was using the cucumber, she's got the hots for Roger just like Amy and Francine. Maybe you should consider putting a "harem" tag on this? 🤔 4/5 because Roger doesn't spend the night and do Devon too.
