Delicious took me by the arm, kissed me and said, "It's okay dad, I'm taking you, Gray and the shrimp with me."

Gordon yelled, "I'm not going to be a shrimp when we leave. I'm going to be 14. I will probably be taller than you are."

"Who are you going to take with you young man; Danielle or Brandy?"

"I asked both of them to come with me, and they both said they would."

Delicious was left with her mouth open, while Jennifer and I laughed along with my colleagues.

Shelby asked me if there were any laws about under age sex in space.

I told him I didn't know. I've never been there before."

It was 9:30 PM, and our meeting had lasted over three hours. I had scheduled it for two hours. I guess I was overly optimistic. I led my friends to their cars, and advised them to follow Shelby, until they were on the highway on their way back to Denver.

This was a very cerebral group. It would take them weeks to digest the information they had received today. One by one they would call me, or each other to schedule a meeting. Then the fun stuff, the real fun stuff would begin. The SCIENCE would start.

I would be at IBM's headquarters soon, with Delicious on my arm, Gray at her side. Four, very serious looking men, in dark suits, and darker glasses would be keeping an eye on the three of us at all times.

I would be buying two of their most recently upgraded Sequoias.

Delicious would be in their research and development area 'telling them', not asking them, 'telling them' she needed the "EXASCALE COMPUTERS" yesterday.

(But I am getting ahead of myself, so I will stop here, and continue on with Chapter 9, after the numbers stop running around in my head, and I jump over a field of flowers."

** (The difference between today's PetaFlop Supercomputer and tomorrow's Exascale Supercomputer is the difference between a Model A Ford and a Maserati.

A PetaFlop computer, like the Sequoia used in my story, does a Thousand Million, Million computation points per second. An Exascale computer does a Million, Million, Million computation points per second. The chips for these new super- computers are made on slivers of industrial diamonds. Yes, they are already being made by a company working for, and funded by the United States government.)
